As the Occupational Health Site Leader, your primary responsibility will be providing comprehensive health and wellness services to the employees of the site in alignment with established Global Medical Priorities, Health System Key Elements and Corporate Function Human Resources objectives, goals, strategies, and measures.
Builds and maintains site Health Systems capability through continual assessment of business needs and use of the Health Systems Key Elements audit tool and process to ensure delivery of quality care and services. Collaborates with site leadership and key partners (HS&E, Risk, Fire Chief, HR, Legal, etc.) to ensure appropriate site occupational and wellbeing programs are in place to align with business objectives, mitigate risks and preserve and promote employee wellbeing. Ensures all programs are compliant with country related laws, as well as, P&G medical testing requirements and governance.

Responsible to be the administrator and ambassador for the Vibrant Living Health Centre serving as the first point of contact when employees enter the Health Centre. Comprised of administrative responsibilities, project management, and medical tasks. Administrative responsibilities include oversight of front office such as: ordering supplies, checking in employees, and as ambassador answering employee questions & helping to navigate and access the Vibrant Living Programs at the site. Project and program management includes medical record management, medical testing programs compliance (such as scheduling, tracking and reporting), and others as assigned. Medical tasks may include medical testing (audio, pulmonary function, and vision testing), urine/hair drug specimen collection, and venepunctures.
Responsible for providing basic first aid, evaluating an employee's health, and providing initial diagnosis on medical conditions, maintaining employee health records, as well as appraising the safety and health hazards in the work environment. He or she may conduct thorough physical examinations on an employee to establish pre-existing medical conditions or determine physical ailments acquired in the workplace. The occupational health nurse inspects the work area and equipment used by personnel for safety compliance, generates detailed reports on safety conditions, educates employees on preventative measures against occupational hazards, promotes healthy living and working conditions, provides counselling and support, develops health and safety policies, and ensures that the company is up to date with public health and employment safety legislations.
