Country Manager in Healthcare sector is a key link between Medical/Healthcare services provider and healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacists and laboratories.

As a country manager you will be responsible for contacting and making meetings with healthcare professionals/ consultants, pharmaceutical companies etc. You will plan and work strategically to increase the awareness and create a positive word of mouth. You may have to make presentations and organize group meetings for healthcare professionals, as well as working with contacts on a one to one basis.

Responsibilities:

Marham Medicare is looking for a candidate, who can build and sustain long-term relationship with doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. Someone who has strong connections in the healthcare industry and can build a team across major cities.

(The position will spend most the time 70% or more in the field and corporate sector too)

-Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists, hospital medical teams and laboratories etc. which may include pre-appointments or through connections.

-Making presentations to the healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, pharmacists or any other medical service providers.

- Training new staff and setting the right plan to build a strong sales team in respective cities.

- Build and maintain positive working relationship with medical staff and supportive staff.

- Manage and keep detail records of all business contacts.

- Win new customers, as well as develop long term relationship.

- Set, reach and if possible exceed, annual sales target.

- Plan work schedules and weekly, monthly timetables with the area sales team or discuss future targets with the manager.

- Keep up to date latest offers/packages offered by the company, to interpret with healthcare professionals during meetings and presentations.

- Analyze sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated.

- Monitor competitors’ activity and products.

- Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in medical & health sector.

Experience and educational requirements:

-3+ years medical/clinical selling experience with demonstrated success in specialty medical products OR 5+ years combined experience in sales with demonstrated success and clinical experience.

-Consistently meets and exceeds sales targets.

-Ability to develop solid and long-standing business relationships with strategic and targeted customers.

-Demonstrated solid financial and analytical skills.

-This position will require 70% or more travel to develop internal and external relationships (depending on geographical location)

-Degree in Business, Marketing or a Medical Science/MBA also preferred.

-Proven ability to make decisions when dealing with complexity and ambiguity.

-Able to work in a fast-paced growing working environment.

-Ability to analyze internal and external trends and issues and take appropriate action.

-Strong priority setting skills and timely decision making.

-Strong presentation skills and written communications.
